Entering the Calibration mode
Background
When asked to enter a calibration mode on the GDM-8245,
please follow the procedure below. There are a number of
calibration modes shown in the table below.
Calibration Modes
Mode
Description
CL10
ACV – short calibration
CL20
DCV/ACA/DCA/Ω - short calibration
CL30
Capacitance -open calibration
CL40
400mΩ -short calibration
CL50
Main calibration and adjustment mode
Enter the
calibration mode
1. Turn on the instrument.
2. Press Shift, Max/Min and then
hold the Auto/Man key for 5
seconds until the calibration
mode appears.

3. CL 10 will be shown in the secondary display.

Navigation
To move to the next calibration mode
press the UP arrow key.
Note: It is not possible to navigate to the
previous calibration mode. Pressing
down will have no effect.
To return to the first
calibration mode (CL 10),
press SHIFT then the UP
arrow key.

To exit the calibration mode,
press SHIFT and the
Auto/Man key.
