Set the cruise speed
Press the button to set the vehicle
speed. After the vehicle speed is suc-
cessfully set, the adaptive cruise con-
trol system indicator or intelligent
cruise assist indicator on the combina-
tion instrument turns from white to
green.
The minimum set speed of the cruise as-
sist system is 30 km/h.
NOTICE
When the adaptive cruise assist mode
is activated, the following basic condi-
tions must be met before the cruise
speed can be set:
All doors are completely closed.
The driver wears the seat belt cor-
rectly.
The vehicle is started and D gear is
engaged in.
ESC is activated.
No parking brake is applied.
The vehicle speed is less than 120
km/h.
The vehicle driving mode is in the
standard, ECO or sport mode.
When the intelligent cruise assist mode
is activated, the following basic condi-
tions must be met before the cruise
speed can be set:
All doors are completely closed.
The driver wears the seat belt cor-
rectly.
The vehicle is started and D gear is
engaged in.
ESC is activated.
No parking brake is applied.
The vehicle speed is less than 120
km/h.
The system detects a lane boundary.
If the vehicle speed is less than 60
km/h and there is no lane boundary,
it is necessary to detect a moving tar-
get.
The vehicle driving mode is in the
standard, ECO or sport mode.
Increasing cruising speed
There are three methods to increase the
set speed:
Press the button to increase the
speed.
Press and hold the button to in-
crease the speed continuously.
Step on the accelerator pedal to accel-
erate to the desired speed, and press
button to set a new speed.
NOTICE
Only when the road ahead is unjam-
med will the vehicle be accelerated to
the set speed. Otherwise, the vehicle
will follow the front vehicle to drive at
the set distance level.
