Precautions for installing
child seats
If the rear seat backrests angle is ad-
justable, adjust it to the appropriate
position, so that the cushion and back-
rest of the child seat can t closely
with rear seat.
If the child seat is not installed with
ISOFIX, please use the seat belt to in-
stall it and then follow the installation
instructions attached to the child seat.
Properly fasten the child seat inside
the vehicle.
If you are unable to install the child
seat correctly, in the event of emer-
gency braking or accident, severe in-
jury or even death may occur.
Do not place unsecured child seat pro-
tectors in the vehicle.
Because if you leave it inside the vehi-
cle, it may come into contact with pas-
sengers or other objects in the event
of emergency braking or severe im-
pact, causing a severe injury or even
death.
You should select an appropriate child
seat based on your child's age and
weight, and secure the child seat on
the rear seat.
Accident statistics show that com-
pared to child passengers seated in
the front seat, child passengers are
safer when they are seated in a rear
seat and secured with the appropriate
protective measures.
Carrying the child in your lap is not the
same as securing the child in a child
seat. In the event of an accident, the
child may be thrown towards the
windshield glass or crushed between
you and the vehicle interior trim.
Even when the child has been seated
in a child seat, take care that his or her
head or body is not leaning against the
door pillars or roof rail.
When the curtain airbag fully deploys,
it can be very dangerous in this sce-
nario as the deployment force may
cause severe injury or even death to
the child.
Depending on the dierent types of
child seat, when installing or removing
a child seat, please refer to the install
instructions and precautions attached
with the child seat.
If the child seat is equipped with a top
tether strap, tight the top tether strap
according to the installation instruc-
tions and precautions attached with
the child seat.
Otherwise, it may cause severe injury
or even death in the event of emer-
gency braking or collision.
If the child seat is equipped with a top
tether strap, the top tether strap must
pass under the headrest.
Otherwise the child seat cannot be
xed securely; in the event of emer-
gency braking or collision it may cause
severe injury or even death.
