vehicle have been calibrated at the fac-
tory. If you often carry heavy items in
the vehicle, the front combination lamps
may need to be re-calibrated. The cali-
bration of the front combination lamps
should be done at a service provider.
Bulb inspection
You should regularly check the condition
of the exterior lights. Burnt-out bulbs
will lower visibility and also the vehicle's
ability to signal to other drivers in the
dark. This means that vehicle safety will
be severely compromised under such
circumstances.
Replacing bulbs
Bulbs should be replaced by a professio-
nal.
Normally, you should not replace dam-
aged bulbs yourself, and should allow a
professional to perform this job. The pri-
mary reason is: before replacing the
bulbs you must remove other parts from
the vehicle, especially so for those bulbs
that can only be removed from inside
the engine compartment. Because of
this, we recommended that you visit a
service provider to replace the bulbs.
WARNING
The inside of the bulbs is pressur-
ized, and there is a danger of injury
as they may burst during replace-
ment!
If the vehicle is equipped with a xe-
non lamp, do not turn on the
headlamp when replacing the xenon
bulb. Otherwise, high voltage may
cause serious bodily injury.
Modication of external lighting and
signaling devices is prohibited.
It is forbidden to add external light-
ing and signaling components be-
yond what is in the compulsory
standard specications.
About lamps fogged
Under conditions such as driving or
washing vehicle on a rainy day, there
may be fog inside the lamp cover. This is
caused by the temperature dierence
between the inner and outer air of the
lamps and it is the same phenomenon
with the window glass fogging on rainy
days. It doesn't mean any problems in
function. However, when a signicant
amount of water or water vapor accu-
mulates inside the lamp cover, please
contact service provider for assistance.
CAUTION
Do not use chemical solvents or strong
cleaning agents to scrub the external
lamp cover to avoid damage to the ex-
ternal lamp cover.
