1.5.2 Turning On the Backlight
The backlight can improve the readability of the screen in low-light conditions.
Press the
Backlight key to turn the light on or off. The light will automatically
shut off 15 minutes after the last key has been pressed.
1.5.3 Adjusting the Display Contrast
Lighten or darken the contrast on the display using the Contrast Adjustment keys.
1.5.4 Battery Status
Press the Battery Status key to bring up the battery meter reading window. Press
the
Battery Status key again to return to the previous screen menu. The Battery
Status reading window is not available from all screens. For more information
about batteries, see Specifications on page 9, Alkaline Battery Replacement on page 51,
and Rechargeable Battery Pack Replacement/Maintenance on page 52.
