EGTA Solution to the
second cell. Swirl to mix.
10. Place first cell (the
blank) into the cell
holder.
11. Touch Zero.
The display will show:
0.00 ppm Mg CaCO
3
12. Place the second cell
into the cell holder.
Touch
Read.
Results will appear in
mg/L magnesium as
calcium carbonate.
Note: This value is the amount
of magnesium in the sample
expressed as CaCO
3
.
13. Do not remove the
cell from the instrument.
Record or store the
results.
14. Touch Exit.
Note: At this point, sample
data may be stored for later
access if desired.
