Regular tests and maintenance
The service life of a circuit breaker essentially depends on the operating conditions.
Preventive maintenance and periodic inspections performed by competent, electrically skilled per-
sons with experience in testing are important in maintaining the performance of the circuit breaker.

Maintenance work on withdrawable hw+ circuit breaker under live conditions (-W)
A withdrawable circuit breaker can be switched to the "test" and "withdrawn" positions and removed
under voltage. Conversely, insertion and retraction under voltage are also possible.
Follow all safety rules for personal protection and equipment protection.
Only electrically skilled persons should perform maintenance work.
Provide an adequately sized lifting device.
Do not use force when withdrawing, removing, inserting and retracting equipment.
Switch the circuit breaker to the “OFF” position.
Follow the relevant instructions in section 8 of the installation manual.
