SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ASSEMBLY AND USE
• Max load 30 kg.
• Check that the axle load for the vehicle is not exceeded with
bikes loaded on the carrier. Check that the permitted load on
the towbar is not exceeded.
• Before tting the bike carrier, switch o the ignition on the
vehicle, remove the ignition key and apply the parking brake.
• A separate number plate must be tted on the bike carrier if
it conceals the number plate on the vehicle.
• After tting the bike carrier, drive a short distance to check
all the screw unions and other connections. Adjust and
tighten if necessary. Check all connections at regular
intervals. Check more often in demanding conditions.
ROAD SAFETY
• Never drive over the speed limit. The maximum speed with
bikes loaded on the bike carrier is 130 km/h.
• Always check that the opening mechanism is closed and
secured before driving.
• Avoid sharp braking and acceleration.
• Avoid sharp turns. Do not turn at speeds over 40 km/h.
• Do not drive at speeds over 40 km/h in heavy trac.
• The bike carrier increases the width and length of the vehicle
when loaded with bikes. Be careful when reversing.
DESCRIPTION
The bike carrier ts easily on the towbar and can hold two bikes
with tyre widths of 24 and 45 mm. The pivot function allows you
to quickly lower down the bike carrier so that you can open the
boot more easily. The lighting is E-approved and connects to the
car via the 13-pin trailer coupling on the front of the carrier (7-pin
trailer adapter included). Supplement with an extension for space
for a third bike. The extension and other accessories are available
in Jula’s department stores or www.jula.com.

MAINTENANCE
• Clean the product with a damp cloth after use. Do not use
solvent or caustic solutions.
• Apply a suitable oil on all screw unions, and store the bike
carrier in a dry place.
• Remove the bike carrier before washing the car.
