Power pack and footplate
Loading the power pack
and fitting the footplate
Items required: Tools required:
• Power pack • Loading toggle
• Footplate • Shorting links
accessories kit • Loading bars
• 13mm socket
• No. 2 Pozi-drive
• Pliers
• T30 Torx driver
1 Fit the power pack loading bars to the top
of the track (Figure 27).
2 Feed the power pack on to the loading bars
(Figure 28).
3 Remove trunnion loading strip (Figure 29).
4 Take off the front cover from the power unit.
5 Assemble the footplate (footplate accessories
kit)
Manual (gas strut) footplate
a Remove the footrest assembly from the
footrest kit box. Loosen the screw and
remove the shaft from this assembly.
b Attach the footrest to the power pack
(Figure 30) – make sure that the gas
strut bracket remains in position. Tighten
the screw to hold the shaft in place
(Figure 31).
c Loosen the top nut from the gas strut
bracket (Figure 32).
d Attach the upper part of the gas strut
to the bracket (Figure 33).
e Moving the footplate to the up position,
push the bracket downwards (Figure 34).
f Once the footplate is in the correct position,
retighten the gas strut bracket (Figure 35).
