    If the chain on your Hase Spezialräder Bicycle shifts onto the smallest sprocket with difficulty or not at all, it could be due to several reasons: * Adjusting screw H being screwed in too much. * Cable being too tight. * Cable not operating correctly. To address these issues: * Turn screw H (diagram 17) anti-clockwise until the upper jockey wheel is flush with the smallest sprocket. * Turn adjusting screw 1 (diagram 21) clockwise (or on the right-hand grip shifter) until the chain shifts down with ease. * Check the cable and lubricate if necessary.

    If the chain on your Hase Spezialräder Bicycle slips off the largest sprocket in between the spokes and sprocket, or if the chain guide scrapes on the spokes, it could be due to: * Adjusting screw H being screwed out too much. * A deformed derailleur or chain stay end. To resolve this: * Turn screw L clockwise until the upper jockey wheel is flush with the largest sprocket. * Align or renew the derailleur or chain stay end.
