Signs of a drained battery
Unable to start the vehicle.
Headlamps are abnormally dim.
The horn will not sound, or the sound is weak.
How to jump start the vehicle
If the vehicle cannot be started due to the 12V
battery being flat, you can use jump leads to
connect to the auxiliary battery of another
vehicle in order to start the vehicle.
⚠ Caution
Not all vehicle batteries are suitable. Only
use 12V batteries to start the vehicle using
jump leads.
You cannot push or tow the vehicle to start it.
1. After remove luggage compartment cover,
open the protective covers for the positive
and negative battery.

2. Follow the order below to connect jump start.

Ⓐ Positive terminal on charging battery of the
drained vehicle
Ⓑ Positive terminal on charging battery of the
rescue vehicle
Ⓒ Negative terminal on charging battery of the
rescue vehicle
Ⓓ Negative terminal on charging battery of the
drained vehicle
3. How to charge the battery.
Start the rescue vehicle and run it for about
5 minutes. This can temporarily charge the
battery of the vehicle with a flat battery.
4. Start the vehicle with a flat battery.
If you still cannot start the vehicle, verify that
the connection has been made properly
before continuing to charge the battery.
5. Remove the jumper cable.
Once the vehicle has started, remove the
jump leads in the reverse order to that in
which they were connected.
