Towing with towing eye
⚠ Warning
Traction must comply with local regulations
regarding trailer towing.
In case of emergency, if a professional car
cannot be used for towing, use the tow hook to
tow the vehicle temporarily. With this towing
method, the vehicle can only be towed at a low
speed for a short distance on a hard paved road.
When using tow hooks, the driver must sit in the
vehicle and control the steering wheel and the
brake pedal, and the wheels, axles, steering,
braking and transmission system (such as
transmission), light system (turn signal lamp,
brake lamp) must be in good condition.
⚠ Caution
If the instrument indicates “Drive System Fault”,
do not tow the vehicle with the tow hook, and
contact service provider.
The specific towing steps are as follows:
1. Open the tow hook cover.

Insert a flat-headed screwdriver wrapped in a
cloth into the notch of the towing eye cover
plate to pry off the cover plate.
2. Screw the towing eye into the hole and
tighten it clockwise.

3. Attach the rope to the tow hook taking care
not to damage the body.
The distance between towing vehicle and
towed vehicle shall be more than 4m and
less than 10m.
Attach a piece of white cloth (0.3 m X 0.3 m
above) in the middle of the towing rope.
⚠ Caution
Do not use a steel rope to tow as that will
damage the bumper.
4. Start the vehicle and switch the gear to N
position.
⚠ Caution
When you cannot switch the transmission gear
to N, do not use tow hooks for towing.
5. Turn on the hazard warning lamp, release
the parking brake and wait for traction.
The towing speed is not greater than 12
km/h and the towing distance is not greater
than 25 km.
⚠Warning
If the vehicle requires a traction due to an
accident, a service provider shall be entrusted
as far as possible. Do not use tow hooks for
towing, as this may damage the tow hook and
suspension components.
