If the brake fluid level is below the lower mark,
you should add brake fluid to raise the level to
between the lower and upper marks and check
the braking system for any leaks.
Filling
1. Pull the two pawls of the cover plate as shown
in the figure to remove the cover plate.

2. After removing the cover plate, and the brake
fluid tank can be seen.

3. Unscrew the fluid reservoir cap and pour the
brake fluid in slowly to avoid spillage. If spilt,
it should be cleaned up immediately. Failure
to do so could damage components in the
engine compartment.
Be sure to use the type of brake fluid specified.
4. After filling, close the liquid storage tank
cover and cover plate.
⚠ Warning
If there is not enough brake fluid, the brakes
could become ineffective, which can lead to
an accident.
Brake fluid is harmful to health and is
corrosive. In case of accidental contact, flush
immediately with a large amount of fresh
water. If ingested, seek medical attention
immediately.
Engine/drive motor coolant
Checks
The liquid level in the expansion tank should
be checked regularly.
Check that the level of fluid in the expansion
tank is between the lower and upper limit
marks.
If the coolant level is below the lower mark, you
should add coolant to raise the level to
between the lower and upper marks and check
the cooling system for any leaks.
Filling
When the engine and drive motor cools, slowly
open the lid to let the pressure out.
If coolant is spilt, wash with clean water to
prevent damage to components or painted
surfaces.
Be sure to use the type of coolant specified.
⚠ Caution
Ethylene glycol lowers the freezing point of
the coolant. Do not dispose of coolant
carelessly, as this will lead to water
contamination.
Do not remove the expansion tank cap
when the engine compartment is hot. The
cooling system may be under pressure and
hot coolant may spray out if opened,
leading to burns or other injuries.
To replace the engine coolant or when the
drive motor battery is very short of coolant,
please contact an authorized service center.
