Front wiper
Front wiper position

Ⓐ Front wiper mist operation (MIST)
Push the wiper control combination switch
upwards to the MIST position.
After releasing, it will automatically return
to its position, and the front wipers will wipe
once.
Ⓑ Front wiper off (OFF)
Ⓒ Automatic wiper (AUTO)
Ⓓ Low speed (LO)
Ⓔ High speed (HI)
⚠ Caution
If the windscreen is very dirty or has
material stuck to it (snow, gum, etc.), clean
this off before using the wipers to avoid
damaging the wiper blades or the internal
components.
Before using the wipers in cold weather, check
whether they are frozen to the windscreen.
If the wiper blades are frozen to the windscreen,
make sure to thaw them out before using them
to avoid damaging the blades or the wiper
motors.
If the wipers get stuck for some reason, for
instance due to snow, turn them off and pull
over to a safe location as soon as possible.
Clear whatever is keeping the wiper from
operating so that they can function normally.
Automatic wipe adjustment

Turn the rotation adjustment knob to change
the sensitivity settings for the rainfall and light
sensor in order to adjust the wiping frequency
of the front wiper at the auto wiping position.
⚠ Warning
The rainfall and light sensor may not identify
rain and activate the front wipers under certain
circumstances. If rain on the windscreen affects
your view, adjust the front wiper lever or wiper
frequency manually when necessary.
When the automatic front wipers are set to
AUTO, the front wipers may operate
unexpectedly if the windscreen is knocked in
the vicinity of the rear view mirror, or if the
windscreen is subjected to vibration. Take
care not to let the front wipers crush your
fingers etc.
When washing the vehicle or if you do not
require the front wipers, do not leave the
front wipers in the AUTO position, otherwise,
the front wipers may operate unexpectedly.
