Error classes The following error classes can occur and can be compensated for with
KinematicsComp:
Geometry errors (static) – (nonlinear) deviations between machine
coordinate system and CNC depend on:
Accuracy of measuring systems
Straightness, angularity of the machine
Accuracy of the kinematics model
Axis offset and positioning errors
Friction, backlash and Abbé error
Thermally induced errors (quasi-static) – inhomogeneous temperature
distribution in the machine parts:
Spindle
Feed drives
•Cooling
Symmetry of machine frame
