Error localization
PLC input
DANGER
For this examination it must be ensured that no dangerous action can be performed at the
machine. Therefore, press the EMERGENCY STOP button and contact the machine manufacturer.
Attention
If several 24-V sources are used on your machine, use exactly the one intended for the PLC inputs.
Is the input set to 1?
Yes
No
From the PLC input to be checked,
disconnect the original wire and secure it.
Confirm the Power interrupted message.
The PLC program is compiled.
Do not press the 'Control voltage ON' key
(the machine power should not be switched on).
PLC input defective?
Instead, connect one end of a separate wire to this
PLC input and the other end to the plus pole of the
24 V power supply of the electrical cabinet.
Press the EMERGENCY STOP button (to make sure that
no dangerous action can be performed at the machine).
Call the PLC TABLE and place the highlight
on the input to be inspected.
Switch off the machine.
Switch on the power switch of the machine.
- Input of the control component
(MB, UEC, PLB, PLD) defective
- Cable or connector defective
- Fault in the bus, etc.
The input of the control component
(MB, UEC, PLB, PLD) is OK.
The fault is located in the electrical
cabinet or the machine tool.
