PWM 20 You can also use the new PWM 20 for inspecting and testing EnDat encoders. --> See ”PWM 20
encoder diagnostic kit” on page 30 – 569.
If the IK 215 is connected in the signal path between the encoder and the control component:
Do not change the settings of the IK 215 (e.g., parameters, encoder voltages) and do not switch
it off while the machine tool is operating.
Ignoring this may cause machine damage or personal injury!
Read the operating instructions of the IK 215 in detail, before you use the device.
