22.3 Troubleshooting
Screen soft keys The soft-key rows of the BF screens are connected to the keypad board of the TE 6xx via ribbon cables.
Troubleshooting --> See ”Checking the keys” on page 23 – 370.
USB interface
8 Try USB devices with lower current consumption.
8 Disconnect the TE 6xx keyboard unit from the MC 6222 or the BF 250.
Monitor Proposal for troubleshooting, if the screen remains black when the machine is switched on:
Yes
No
Check whether the fan is running.
Measure whether 24 V are available at the 2-pin
connector X101 of the MC 6222 or X1 of the BF 250.
Machine is switched on but screen remains dark
Is the dc voltage between
20.4 V and 28.8 V?
Establish power supply.
Connect your Service laptop to the iTNC 530 HSCI and
start the HEIDENHAIN computer software TNCremoNT.
Can you now see the
data on your laptop?
Yes
No
The graphics card of the
iTNC 530 HSCI may be
defective.
The graphics card of the iTNC 530 HSCI is probably OK.
Set up the connection and click one of
the camera symbols in the menu bar.
Note
By means of a dongle for the USB interface, TNCremoNT can be enhanced to TNCremoPlus.
With this version you can view the control display on your service laptop.
You can call this function with the icon View TNC screen.
The symbol is in the menu bar, next to the camera symbols.
The dongle can be ordered from HEIDENHAIN.
Note
Even if you can see the display information with TNCremoNT, it is still not 100% sure that all areas
of the graphic card are in good order!
