Operations
Attention : Plug the appliance on a separate group of 16 ampere.
1. Switch ON
Touch the
button to Switch ON or OFF the deep fryer. When the deep fryer is switched ON, the deep fryer
enters into the standby mode.
2. Operation (a) After the deep fryer has been switched ON, the “Fill Oil Indication Lamp” blinks and the buzzer alarms to
alert the user to fill oil into the oil tank. Please make sure that the oil level is over the “MIN” mark and not
over the “MAX” mark.
After filling oil, please press the “Fill Oil Button”. Then the operation can be started.
(Note: At each start-up, the appliance performs a self-check. If there is no or insufficient oil in the tank,
the dry-heat protection will prevent further operation. Dry-heat protection causes the buzzer to sound, the
fill-oil indication lamp to light and
to be shown in the display.
IMPORTANT: The heat required for detecting dry-heating is in itself sufficient to cause discoloration or
deformation of the tank walls if the tank is not filled. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THERE IS SUFFICIENT OIL IN
THE TANK). Discoloration is excluded from warranty.
(b) User can use the
and
button to adjust the Set Temperatures of the deep fryer. The set temperature
range is in between 140°C-190°C with 5°C interval.
When the actual temperature of the oil has not reached the set temperature yet, “HEATING INDICATOR” is
ON and “KEEPING WARM INDICATOR” is OFF. When the deep fryer is heating, the display panel will show
the actual temperature. Press 1x

, increase or decrease the set temperature.
When the actual temperature of the oil reaches the set temperature, “Be” sound will be heard 2 times to
indicate the set temperature has been reached. In addition, the “HEATING INDICATOR” will be OFF and the
“KEEPING WARM INDICATOR” will light up.
(Note: During operation, if no button on the control panel is pressed or the temperature of oil doesn’t
change for more than 5ºC for 2 hours, the deep fryer will be adjusted automatically to the Set temperature
to 140ºC.
If no any button on the control panel is pressed for 2 more hours. The deep fryer will be switched to stand-
by mode automatically.)
3. Timer
The user can set the timer by pressing
.
When the deep fryer enters into the timer mode, the user can set the time by pressing the
and
buttons.
Timer can be set in between 0 – 15 minutes with 30 seconds interval.
When the timer is set, the time will be counted down and the remaining time will be shown. When the timer
reaches 0, the buzzer will sound “Be (long), Be (short), and the appliance still keep heating if the Set tempera-
ture does not reach. The display will show “End”, and the deep fryer returns to the temperature mode.
( Note: Changing the timer setting does not affect the temperature setting.
Note: If the actual temperature of oil differs from set temperature by more than 20°C,the timer cannot be set
and the buzzer will alarm to give an alert and the appliance returns to the temperature mode. This occurs
when too many products are put in the deep fryer at once.)
