UNPACKING
1. Removeyourcoffee machinefrom its packaging.
2. After unpacking,verify that the following parts areincluded:
• Water tank
• Coffee maker
• Manual
• Adapters
Note:
• Verify that the voltage Ofthe electrical currentin your home or establishmentis the same asthat stated onthe nameplateOfthe machine.
• Recycleall plastic bagsto avoidhazardsto children!
• Keepthe packagingfor transporting the machine(e.g.for disassembly,repair,etc.).
GETTING STARTED
Beforeusingyour coffee makerfor thefirst time,pay attentiontothe safetyprecautionsin this manual,in particular thefollowing:
• Be careful with the hot water! You could get burnt.
• Rinsethe watertank thoroughlywith cleanwaterbeforethe first use.
• Donot operatethe unit with an emptywatertank or if the waterlevel is belowthe minimum level.
• Onlyusethe appliancein adry room.
• Donot openthe leverwhenthe machine iswarmingupor running.
• Always unplugthe powercord beforecleaningthe machine.
• Cleanthe coffee makeronlywith a damp cloth.
Thefirst step is to fill the water tank; there aretwo waysto do this:
Fill without removingthe tank.
1. Lift the water tank cover.
2. Fill the tank with cleanwater (maximumwatertemperature35'C).
3. Lower the tank cover.
Fill by removingthe water tank.
1. Slightlylift thewatertank inthe direction showninthe pictureto remove
the watertank from the appliance.Fill the tank to the "MAX"line with
cleanwater(maximumcapacity0.6 litres).
2. Slowlyslide the water tankover the baseOfthe watertank, performing
the reverseproceduredescribedabove.Whenthe watertank outlet is
inserted into the inlet base,pushdown to lock the watertank.
