• Make sure the door is closed properly. If this is not the case, the programme will not start.
Adding the detergent to the machine
The amount of detergent used in the machine will depend on the following factors:
• Do not select a pre-wash if the laundry is only very lightly soiled. Pour a small quantity
of detergent (according to the manufacturer's instructions) into compartment II of the
dispenser drawer.
• If the laundry is extremely soiled, select a programme with a pre-wash and pour ¼ of the
amount of detergent to be used into compartment I of the dispenser drawer and the rest into
compartment II.
• Only use detergents designed for washing machines. Follow the manufacturer's
recommendations for the amount of detergent to use.
• More detergent should be used in hard water areas.
• The larger the load of laundry, the more detergent you will need.
• Pour the fabric softener into the central compartment of the dispenser drawer. Do not
exceed the MAX level.
• Thick softeners may clog the drawer and must be diluted.
• Liquid detergents can be used with all programmes without a pre-wash. To do this, slide
the graduated rule for liquid detergent (*) into the guide rails of compartment II of the
dispenser drawer. Use the graduations on the rule to fill the compartment with the required
amount of detergent.
(*) The technical specifications may vary depending on the model of machine.
