Chapter 5 License Plate Recognition
Purpose:
The license plate of the vehicle in the live view can be read and recorded, and the detailed
information of the license plate number can be checked.
Before you start:
Please added a license plate recognition system to the iVMS-5200P and properly configure the
corresponding area. The added device should have been configured with license plate recognition
rules.
Note: For adding license plate recognition system to the iVMS-5200P, please refer to the User Manual
of iVMS-5200 Professional Web Manager. For configuring license plate recognition rules, please refer
to the User Manual of the device.
Click the icon on the control panel,
or click View->License Plate Recognition to open the License Plate Recognition page.

5.1 Live View
Purpose:
You can view the live view and the recognized license plates can be displayed in real time.
Steps:
1. In the License Plate Recognition page, click Live View tab.
2. Optionally, click the screen layout button and select the screen layout mode for live view.
