1.2.3 Access to the Command Line Interface using SSH (Secure Shell)
In the following example we use the
PuTTY
program. Another option to access your device using
SSH is the OpenSSH Suite.
Proceed as follows:
Start the
PuTTY
program on your computer.

In the
Host Name (or IP address)
field you enter the IP address of your device.
The IP address consists of 4 decimal numbers with values from
0
to
255
. The 4 decimal numbers
are separated by points.
To specify the connection type, select the
SSH
radio button in the
Connection type
range.
After selecting and setting the required parameters, the device enables you to set up the data
connection using SSH.
