Item Description
User ID Sets a user ID that is not registered. You can specify a maximum of 31
characters consisting of alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), periods (.),
and underscores (_). The first character must be an alphabetic character.
Status Shows whether or not the account is available. If the account is enabled,
you can log in with the account. If the account is disabled, you cannot log
in with the account. The account can be unavailable temporarily with
Disable without deleting it.
Role Shows roles assigned to the account. Operations available with the role can
be shown by selecting Show and edit role settings from Action combo
box items on the upper right.
Language Shows a language used on the Web/CLI console: English, Japanese, or
Follows the system settings, when you log in with this account. If you
have selected English
or Japanese, the language used regardless of the
system setting. If you have selected Follows the system settings, the
system language set in
Language on page 2-203
is used.
To allow the new setting to take effect, log out of the Web console once.
CLI Prompt Shows a path to the CLI prompt.
Select $ (fixed for any system) or <ChassisID><SVPSlotNumber>$.
Including the chassis ID in the prompt can specify the system unit in
operation when you manage multiple system units using CLI.
CLI Inactive
Time (min)
Shows the CLI console automatic timeout. Session timeout ranges from 1
to 1440 minutes. With the Web console, the session is automatically
disconnected in 30 minutes regardless of this setting.
