Disable: Password expiration dates are not managed.
Password
expiry period
(day)
Displays the password expiry period.
Change expired
password
Displays whether a password of an account can be changed at login
when the password has expired.
Enable: When the password has expired, a window for changing the
password is displayed at login.
Disable: When the password has expired, the user cannot log in.
Even if this setting is disabled, in the window to edit the user account,
you can enable the setting individually. In addition, if the user has a
permission to edit accounts, the user can change passwords at login
regardless of this setting.

Item Description
Edit Edits the Password policy settings.
Tip: If management of password expiration dates is enabled and a user, who
has a permission to edit accounts, either has an account whose password is
nearing expiration, or has an account whose password has expired, a dialog
box that warns the user of the password expiration date appears at login.
