SMTP server Host
name(FQDN)
Shows the SMTP server host name.
Set either IP address or a host name as FQDN
consisting of up to 64 characters.
Encryption Shows the encryption settings of SMTP route.
You can set the following items:
"Enable", "SSL", or "TSL".
Port number Shows the port number of SMTP server.
Value: from 1 to 65535
Default setting is different according to the
encryption settings as follows.
When "Enable" or "TSL" is set: default setting is 25
When "SSL" is set: default setting is 465
SMTP
authentication
Function Shows Enable/Disable of the SMTP authentication.
Method of SMTP
authentication
Shows the method of SMTP authentication.
You can set the following items:
PLAIN: authenticated as plaintext.
CRAM-MD5: challenge and response
LOGIN: interactive authentication in plaintext.
User name Shows the user name of SMTP authentication.
Set one with up to 64 characters. Available
characters are alphanumerics, ?, @, $, #, %, ^, -,
=, _, ., [, and ].
A password can be set as well.
When SMTP is enabled, make sure to set the
account and password.
