settings
TLS version Specify TLS version used to connect to LDAP
server.
Bind settings Anonymous bind Select Disable or Enable. With this item
disabled, BMC binds with LDAP server using
Bind DN and Bind password specified.
Bind DN Specify a DN for bind. The DN must be an
ASCII string up to 254 characters where the
first and last characters are not a space. This
item is used when Anonymous bind is Disable.
Bind password Specify a password for bind. The password
must be an ASCII string up to 32 characters
where the first and last characters are not a
space. This item is used when Anonymous bind
is Disable.

Type the same string as Bind password.
Directory search
settings
Base DN Specify a DN used as root of directory search.
Login ID attribute Specify an attribute of user entry used as login
ID. If empty string is specified,
sAMAccountName is used.
Role attribute Specify an attribute of user entry used to obtain
roles of the user. If empty string is specified,
BMC considers that users have no role. See

ways to configure roles.
Search timeout
period (sec)

Specify a timeout period when there is no
response in search for a user entry in a
specified LDAP server: 10 seconds or a value
from 1 to 20 seconds.
Referral
(Available only with
CB 520X and
CB520H B2 LDAP Ph.
2 or later)
LDAP referral asks a LDAP client to refer to
another LDAP server when user entry
information is not found in a specified LDAP
server. Specify a Referral number: 10 or a
value from 0 to 10 as another LDAP server to
refer to. If 0 is specified, Referral is disabled.
