Appendix F: Data and power cables
The storage system supports a variety of data and power cables for speciî ´c hosting
environments.
Required cables
The quantities and lengths of the cables required for storage system installation vary
according to the speciî ´c storage system and network conî ´guration. Fibre Channel and
iSCSI cables are used to connect the controllers to a customer switch or host. Serial
Attached SCSI (SAS) cables are used to connect drive trays to controllers and other drive
trays.
