Maintenance of electric dust collector electrodes and ionized mist generator

Stop the operation with the remote controller
and unplug the power plug (or turn off the
circuit breaker).

Open the front panel.
(Refer to page 8 on opening the front panel)

Slowly open the vertical air deflectors using
both hands.

• Be sure to open slowly using both hands as shown in the illustration.
Otherwise, it may cause malfunction.
• Do not use excessive force to move the air deflector beyond the stopper located below it.

Remove the dirt on the electric dust collector electrodes (2 places) and ionized
mist generator with a toothbrush.
• Be sure to use a dry toothbrush.
• Lightly brushed off the dust.

Close the front panel.

Plug in the power plug (or turn on the circuit breaker).

• Do not touch the electric dust collector electrodes and ionized mist generator while the air conditioner
is in operation
High voltage generated at these parts could result in electrical shock.
• Do not splash or direct water to the electric dust collector electrodes and ionized mist generator
It may cause short circuit or malfunction.
