Hitachi RAS-25SX8 - Test Switch


・The smoothing capacitor is charged at a voltage of about 264 to 374 V across it.
・For an energization check of each part of the circuit of the outdoor electrical installation,
the power circuit is energized as well. Therefore take enough care when doing work.
1.Power switch is turned OFF.
2.After turning off the power supply, wait for at least 15 minutes, unlid the electrical installation,
apply a soldering iron of 30 to 75 W at the positive and negative terminals of DB602, and
discharge the charge voltage of the smoothing capacitor.


Cautions
Do not use a soldering iron
equipped with a transformer.
Any such practice would
blow out the temperature
fuse in the transformer.
As shown in the left-hand figure, apply a soldering iron to the
positive and negative terminals of DB602 and discharge the
discharge voltage of the smoothing capacitor.
