4 TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING
4.1 TRANSPORTATION
Transport the product as close to the installation location as
practical before unpacking.
! CAUTION
Donotsteporputanymaterialontheproduct.Applyfourliftingwiresonto
theoutdoorunit,whenliftingitbycrane.
Hanging method
When hanging the unit, ensure a balance of the unit, check
safety and lift up smoothly.
1 Do not remove any packing materials.
2 Hang the unit under packing condition with two ropes as
shown in next gure.

paper.
• Donot putany foreign materialinto theoutdoor unitand check to
ensurethatnoneexistsintheoutdoorunitbeforetheinstallationand
testrun.Otherwise,areorfailure,etc.mayoccur.
When using handles
When manually lifting the unit using the handles, pay attention to
the following points.
1 Do not remove the wooden base from outdoor unit.
2 To prevent the unit from overturning, pay attention to the
center of gravity as shown in the below gure.
3 Two or more personnel should be used to move the unit.

5 BEFORE OPERATION
! CAUTION
• Supplyelectricalpowertothesystemforapproximately12hoursbeforestart-uporalongshutdown.Donotstartthesystemimmediatelyafter
powersupply,itmaycauseacompressorfailurebecausethecompressorisnotheatedwell.
• Whenthesystemisstartedafterashutdownlongerthatapproximately3months,itisrecommendedtocheckthesystembyyourservicecontractor.
• TurnOFFthemainswitchwhenthesystemistobestoppedforalongperiodoftime:IfthemainswitchisnotturnedOFF,electricitywillbeused,
becausetheoilheaterisalwaysenergisedduringcompressorstopping.
• Makesurethattheoutdoorunitis notcoveredwithsnow orice.Ifcovered, removeitbyusing hotwater(approximately50°C). Ifthewater
temperatureishigherthat50°C,itwillcausedamagetoplasticparts.
• Ifonlytheindoorunits0.8or1.0HPareconnected,recommendedmaximumconnectablenumberis8.Ifmorethan8,perceptionofcolddraftmay
occurattheheatingoperation.
