7 UNITS INSTALLATION
7.1 OUTDOOR UNITS INSTALLATION
! CAUTION
• Transporttheproductsasclosetotheinstallationlocationaspractical
beforeunpacking.
• Donotputanymaterialontheproducts.
• Applyfourliftingwiresontotheoutdoor,whenliftingitbycrane
• Installtheoutdoorunitwithsufcientclearancearounditforoperation
andmaintenanceasshowninthenextgures.Installtheoutdoorunit
wheregoodventilationisavailable
• Donotinstalltheoutdoorunitwhereisahighlevelofoilmist,saltyair
orsulphurousatmosphere.
• Installtheoutdoorunitasfaraspractical(beingatleast3meters)
fromelectromagneticwaveradiator(suchasmedicalequipment).
• Forcleaning,usenoninammableandnontoxiccleaningliquid.Use
ofinammableagentmaycauseexplosionorre.
• Workwithsufcientventilation,forworkinginanenclosedspacemay
causeoxygendeciency.Toxicgasmaybeproducedwhencleaning
agentisheatedtohightemperatureby,e.g.,beingexposedtore.
• Cleaningliquidshallbecollectedaftercleaning.
• Payattentionnottoclampcableswhenattachingtheservicecoverto
avoidelectricshockorre.
• Keepclearancebetweentheunitsofmorethan100mm,andavoid
obstaclesthatmayhamperairintake,wheninstallingmorethanone
unitstogether.
• Installtheoutdoorunitintheshadeornotexposedtodirectsunshine
ordirectradiationfromhightemperatureheatsource.
• Donot install theOutdoor Unit in aspace where aseasonal wind
directlyblowstotheOutdoorfan.
• Check to ensure that the foundation is at, level and sufciently
strong.
• Installtheunitinarestrictedareanotaccessiblebythegeneralpublic
• Aluminiumnshave verysharpedges.Pay attentiontothens to
avoidinjury.
• Installtheoutdoorunitwheregoodventilationisavailable,andwhere
itisdry.
• Installtheoutdoorunitwherethesoundorthedischargeairfromthe
outdoorunitdoesnotaffectneighborsorsurroundingvegetation.The
operatingsoundattherearorright/leftsidesishigherthanthevalue
inthecatalogatthefrontside.
• Check to ensure that the foundation is at, level and sufciently
strong.
• Donotinstalltheoutdoorunitwherethereisahighlevelofoilmist,
saltyairorharmfulgasessuchassulphur.
• Do not install the outdoor unit where the electromagnetic wave is
directlyradiatedtotheelectricalbox.
• Installtheoutdoorunitasfaraspractical,beingatleast3metersfrom
theelectromagneticwaveradiator.
• Wheninstallingtheoutdoorunitinsnow-coveredareas,mountthe
eld-suppliedhoodsatthedischargesideoftheoutdoorunitandthe
inletsideoftheheatexchanger.
• Installtheoutdoorunitwhereitisintheshadeoritwillnotbeexposed
to direct sunshine or direct radiation from high temperature heat
source.
Check to ensure that the following accessories are packed with
the outdoor unit.
