5. Close the radiator drain cock (1). Fill the expansion tank
with tap water and LLC at the specified mixing ratio.
When adding coolant, do so slowly to avoid mixing air
bubbles in the system.
Fill coolant in the expansion tank until its level reaches
the upper limit line.
IMPORTANT: If coolant is filled above the upper limit line,
air in the cooling system may not be bled from the
expansion tank. Do not fill coolant above the upper
limit line.
6. Run the engine for several minutes to stabilize the
coolant temperature, and then sufficiently bleed air from
the cooling system.
Stop the engine. Ensure that coolant level is in between
the upper and lower limit line.
Add coolant if necessary. Check the coolant level again
(The coolant level should be between the upper and
lower limit lines.)
