Lack of input power Apply input power, refer to step #1 in Charging

Battery pack not properly
connected
Refer to step #2 in Charging Instructions; ensure a
good physical connection is made
Blown Fuse Replace fuse. Do NOT replace fuse with one rated
greater than 1 amp
Insufficient Charge time

Move switch to the CHARGE
position
CHARGE/DISCHARGE switch in wrong position

Meter does not deflect to the
right during charge
Battery needs to be cycled or
replaced
If run time is short, fully charge the battery, then
discharge it, repeat several times. If run time does
not improve, battery replacement is recommended
Battery pack is not properly
connected
Refer to step #2 in Charging Instructions; ensure a
good physical connection is made
CHARGE/DISCHARGE
switch in wrong position
Move switch to the DISCHARGE position
Timer not set Discharge function will not operate unless dial is
turned clockwise past zero
