Front passenger’s seat
belt reminder light
The vehicle may have a front
passenger seat belt reminder light
located below the front passenger
side air vent on the instrument panel.
• When the ignition control knob
is turned to the on position,
illuminates or ashes.
• The light extinguishes if the front
passenger seat is not occupied.
• If the front passenger seat is
occupied, the light ashes until
the front passenger’s seat belt is
fastened.
• When the vehicle speed is above
22 km/h, a chime will also sound.
Battery warning light
• When the ignition control knob
is turned to the on position,
illuminates for approximately
4 seconds.
• If the light illuminates when
driving, contact a Holden Dealer.
Airbag and Supplemental
Restraint System (SRS)
light
• When the ignition control knob
is turned to the on position,
ashes several times.
If the lamp:
• Does not ash
• Stays on when the ignition
control knob is turned to the on
position
• Stays on after several ashes
• Flashes while driving
• Remains on while driving
The airbag system or seat belt
pretensioner system may not
function correctly, especially in
an accident.
Contact a Holden Dealer
immediately.
Driver’s seat belt
reminder light
• When the ignition control knob
is turned to the on position,
illuminates.
If the seat belt is not fastened after
the engine has been started:
• The light will ash for
approximately 90 seconds, then
stay illuminated until the driver’s
seat belt is fastened.
• When the vehicle speed is
above 22 km/h, the light will ash
again and a chime will sound for
approximately 90 seconds.
The light will stay illuminated until
the driver’s seat belt is fastened.
If the driver’s seat belt is buckled,
neither the chime or the light will
illuminate.
