FUSE REPLACEMENT

Chapter 6
EMERGENCIES
Fuse boxes
There are two fuse boxes; one is on the
left-hand side of the driver’s side foot
well, and the other is located toward the
rear of the engine compartment next to
the coolant reservoir.
Spare fuses and a fuse extractor are
located in the engine compartment fuse
box.
To determine whether or not a fuse is
blown, it is necessary to pull out the
suspect fuse and examine the wire in the
fuse. A blown fuse can be recognised by
its melted wire. If a fuse blows twice in a
row a fault is indicated. The cause should
be located and rectied by a Holden
Dealer.
Foot well fuses
To open the fuse cover on the left-hand
side of the drivers foot well, open the
driver’s side door, pull the top of the cover
outward.
Always ensure the cover is in place after
use. The fuse amperage and designation
is shown on the inside of the fuse cover.
Fuse box in engine compartment
This fuse box is located on the passenger
side of the engine compartment, it contains
circuit fuses, main fuses and relays.
To remove the cover, press the catch
on the side of the fuse box toward the
engine and release the two tabs at the
opposite side.
Always ensure the cover is correctly tted
after replacing or inspecting fuses.
The fuses amperage are shown on the
inside of the fuse cover.
