Bonnet
Opening
1. Pull the lever rearwards.
A safety catch prevents the
bonnet from opening completely.
2. Reach in under the bonnet
opening, near the centre of the
bonnet.
3. Move the safety catch upwards.
4. Raise the bonnet gently.
Gas struts automatically take
over to lift and hold the bonnet
open.
Closing
Warning
To avoid injury and/or damage
to the vehicle, check each time,
before the bonnet is closed, that
the contact area is unobstructed.
1. Lower the bonnet gradually until
it is approximately 30 cm from
closed.
2. Push down until the bonnet
latches.
3. Check that the bonnet is
engaged.
Warning
If while driving you notice that
the bonnet has not been properly
closed, pull the vehicle over to
the side of the road at the earliest
possible moment and close the
bonnet correctly.
