Tachometer
Tachometer (A), shows engine
speed in thousands of revolutions
per minute (RPM).
The red zone indicates critical
engine speed.
Warning
Never operate the vehicle with
the tachometer needle in the red
zone. Serious engine damage
may occur.
Fuel gauge
Fuel gauge (B), shows the level of
fuel in the fuel tank when the ignition
is on (1/1 = full, O = empty).

page 196.
Note
Avoid allowing the tank to run empty
as damage to the catalytic converter
may occur.
Speedometer
Speedometer (C), shows vehicle
speed in kilometres per hour (km/h).
Odometer and tripmeter
Odometer and tripmeter (D):
The odometer records the distance
travelled since the vehicle was built.
The tripmeter records the distance
travelled on a journey.
• Two different trips (TRIP A and
TRIP B) can be recorded at the
same time.
• The reset button is located at
the lower right of the instrument
panel.
• To change the display between,
TRIP A and TRIP B, turn the
ignition key to ON and push the
tripmeter reset button.
Press and hold to reset to zero.
