Manual unlocking/locking
Unlocking:
1. Insert the key into the key slot.
2. Turn the key anticlockwise.
3. Pull the handle upwards.
Locking:
1. Push the tailgate down so it
latches securely.
2. Insert the key into the key slot.
3. Turn clockwise to lock.
Vehicle security
Immobiliser
The immobiliser prevents
unauthorised engine starting.
• If an invalid key is inserted
into the ignition switch/lock, an
indicator on the instrument panel
will ash.
The vehicle will not start.
• The engine is automatically
immobilised when the key is
turned to the LOCK position
and is removed from the ignition
switch/lock.
• Only valid ignition keys can be
used to start the engine.
• If there is a fault with the system,
the light will illuminate.
Auto door lock
When unlocking the doors with
the remote key, all doors will lock
automatically after approximately
30 seconds if:
• The doors remain closed.
• The ignition key is not in the ACC
or ON positions.
