Auxiliary devices
General information
• Devices such as USB sticks
and MP3 players are able to be
connected to the audio system.
• Connect using either the 3.5 mm
auxiliary socket (G) or the USB
port/iPod
®
(P). For operation, see
USB/iPod
®
port on page 69.
Selecting auxiliary as source:
1. Connect a device to the
socket (G).
2. Press AUX (H) to select auxiliary
mode.

®
port
General information
A USB stick or iPod
®
can be
connected to the USB/iPod
®
port.
Warning
Do not connect devices such as;
hard discs, multi plug USB hubs
or other digital equipment to the
USB/iPod
®
port.
Connecting other devices can
cause malfunction or destroy the
audio equipment.
Do not use any equipment that
prevents safe driving.
Caution
In rare cases, a USB stick (thumb
drive) may not be recognised
by the system or may cause a
malfunction.
Selecting the USB/iPod
®
as source
1. Connect a USB stick or iPod
®
to
the USB/iPod port (P).
Files play automatically.
2. To remove a USB stick or iPod
®
,
pull out of the USB/iPod port (P).
The previously used source will
be selected.

mode selection
To select USB or iPod
®
mode, do
one of the following:
• Connect a USB stick or iPod
®
to
the USB/iPod port (P).
• With a USB stick or iPod
®
connected, press USB/iPod (O),
when in a different mode.
