Shift lock manual release
The automatic transmission has
an electric park lock. The key must
be in the ON/RUN position and the
brake pedal pressed so that the
shift lever can be moved from the
P (park) position.
If the battery has discharged, the
shift lever cannot be moved from P
(park) unless the shift lock manual
release is disengaged manually.
To access the shift lock manual
release:
1. Apply the park brake.
2. Open the cover to the left of the
shift lever.
3. Insert a at-blade screwdriver
into the opening as far as it will
go and move the shift lever out of
P (park).
If P (park) is selected again, the
shift lever will be locked again.
Have the cause of the problem
xed by a Holden Dealer.
4. Close the cover.
