4. Replace the engine oil ller
cap tightly by rotating clockwise.
Note
Non-detergent and other low quality
oils, the use of break-in oil, tune
up compounds, friction reducing
compounds and other supplemental
additives are not recommended.
Their use increases costs, may
be detrimental to the operation of
the vehicle and may void the New
Vehicle Voluntary Warranty, to the
extent that Holden considers the
non-recommended uid to have
affected the specications or quality
of the vehicle.
Danger
Engine oil is an irritant and if
ingested, can cause illness or
death.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid repeated or prolonged
contact with skin.
Wash exposed areas with soap
and water or hand cleaner.
Be careful when draining the
engine oil as it may be hot.

vehicles, also refer to Engine oil life
system on page 185.
Engine air lter
(Automatic transmission)
Filter cover removal
1. Remove the six screws.
2. Lift off the cover.
3. Replace the lter.
4. Replace the cover and tighten
the six screws.
Caution
Do not operate the vehicle
without the lter installed. Engine
damage may occur.
