2. Alternatively, use a standard
tow truck and a towing dolly to
prevent the front wheels from
contacting the road.
Caution
If the vehicle is towed with the
front wheels contacting the road,
the vehicle’s drive system could
be severely damaged.
Towing another vehicle
The rear towing eye is located under
the rear bumper.
The towing eye must only be used
for towing and not for recovering a
vehicle.
The vehicle has a cover on the
rear bumper, in front of the rear
towing eye.
1. Remove the two clips from the
cover.
2. Disengage the cover by pulling
backwards.
3. After towing, reinstall the cover
rmly.
Warning
To prevent damage, use only
proper towing equipment.
