Seat belt reminder
X: Driver’s seat belt reminder
: Front passenger’s seat belt
reminder (if occupied)
When the ignition is turned to the
ON position:
• X or illuminates until the seat
belt is fastened.
When the engine is running:
• X or ashes for 100 seconds
then illuminates until the seat belt
is fastened.
If the vehicle reaches a specic
distance or speed and the seat
belt is unfastened, X or
will ash
and the chime will sound for 100
seconds, or until the seat belt is
fastened.

Transmission display
(Automatic transmission)
The currently selected gear is
displayed.
Turn signal
• Push the lever in the same
direction the steering wheel is
turned.
• O ashes.
O also ashes when the hazard
warning is activated.
• The turn signal will self cancel
from larger turns.
• If O ashes quickly, see Bulb
replacement on page 151.
