Airbag and belt
tensioners
The v warning light illuminates for a
short time when the ignition is turned
on to show that the light is working.
If the v warning light does not
illuminate, does not extinguish after
few seconds or illuminates while
driving, there is a problem with the
airbag or belt tensioner system.
Warning
Have any fault in the airbag or
belt tensioner system repaired
immediately by a Holden Dealer.

Charging system light
The p warning light illuminates for a
short time when the ignition is turned
on to show that the light is working.
If the p warning light illuminates
while the engine is running, there is
a problem with the charging system:
1. Stop and switch off the engine.
2. Contact a Holden Dealer.
Malfunction
indicator light
The Z warning light illuminates for a
short time when the ignition is turned
on to show that the light is working.
If the Z warning light illuminates
while driving, there is a problem with
the emission monitoring system.
Contact a Holden Dealer.
Service vehicle soon
indicator light
If the B indicator is displayed, the
vehicle requires a service. Contact a
Holden Dealer.
Brake system
warning light
The R warning lights illuminate for a
short time when the ignition is turned
on to show that the light is working.
If the R warning light does not
extinguish or illuminates while driving
and the park brake is released, there
is a problem with the brakes:
• Stop the vehicle as soon as it is
safe to do so.
• Check the brake uid level. See
Brake uid on page 148. See
Park brake on page 132.
• Do not proceed until satised
that braking is possible or that
the cause of the problem has
been repaired.
• If necessary contact a Holden
Dealer.
Warning
Do not drive while the brake
system warning light is on.
