Tone settings
Select and adjust the sound setup
mode. Settings can be set up
differently for each function (radio,
CD, USB or iPod
®
).
Tone setup menu
• Bass: Adjust the bass level from
-12 to +12.
• Midrange: Adjust the midrange
level from -12 to +12.
• Treble: Adjust the treble level
from -12 to +12.
• Fader: Adjust the front/rear
speaker balance from front 15 to
rear 15.
• Balance: Adjust the left/right
speaker balance from left 15 to
right 15.
• EQ (Equaliser): Select or turn
off the sound style (OFF ↔ Pop
↔ Rock ↔ Classical ↔ Talk ↔
Country).
1. Press TONE (13).
2. Rotate MENU TUNE (14) to
make a selection.
3. Press MENU TUNE (14) to
conrm.
Auto volume control (Type 2)
The audio system volume adjusts
depending on the vehicle’s speed.
As the vehicle’s speed increases,
the volume of the audio system also
increases to compensate for the
driving noise. Refer to Radio settings
on page 100.
Volume limit by high
temperature
If the inside temperature of the audio
system is very high, the maximum
volume will be limited.
If necessary, the volume may
automatically decrease.
