Apple CarPlay
1. Select Apple CarPlay on or off.
• On with USB Auto Launch set
to On: If you connect an iPhone
through the USB port, it will
launch automatically.
• On with USB Auto Launch set
to Off: If you connect an iPhone
through the USB port, the Apple
CarPlay icon will appear on the
Home screen.
• Off (default): If you connect an
iPhone through the USB port, it
will not launch automatically.
Note
Even though Apple CarPlay is set
to Off, connecting a device and
touching the Projection icon on
the home screen will display the
following pop up message:
'While active, Apple CarPlay will be
displayed on this screen'.
Android Auto
1. Select Android Auto on or off.
• On with USB Auto Launch set to
On: If you connect an Android
phone through the USB port, it
will launch automatically.
• On with USB Auto Launch set
to Off: If you connect an Android
phone through the USB port, the
Android Auto icon will appear on
the Home screen.
• Off (default): If you connect
an Android phone through the
USB port, it will not launch
automatically.
Note
Even though Android Auto is set
to Off, connecting a device and
touching the Projection icon on
the home screen will display the
following pop up message:
'While active, Android Auto will be
displayed on this screen'.
