The use of fuel containing more
than 10% ethanol may also affect
your New Vehicle Warranty to the
extent that Holden considers the
fuel affects the specications and
quality of your vehicle.
The use of any fuel, other than
the fuel specied below, may
seriously damage the vehicle
and may void the warranty. Only
clean fuel of good quality should
be used.
Fuel type
Use clean, unleaded petrol of regular
91 Research Octane Number (RON)
rating or higher.
Use of Premium unleaded petrol
(95 RON or higher) on the 1.8 L
engine, may provide a small
improvement in engine response
and fuel economy.
Use of Premium unleaded petrol
(95 RON or higher) on the 1.4 L
engine will provide noticeable
improvement to engine response
especially during high ambient
temperatures.
Purchasing your fuel from a
reputable fuel retailer may reduce
the risk of purchasing fuel which
contains abnormal fuel properties.
Caution
Use of fuel with too low an octane
rating could lead to uncontrolled
combustion and engine damage.
Equivalent standardised fuels with
an ethanol content of max. 10% by
volume may be used.
