• Service ESC
Displays if there is a problem with
the Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
system.
If this message appears, try to reset
the system. Stop; turn off the engine
for at least 15 seconds; then start
the engine again.
If this message is still displayed,
there is a problem. See a Holden
Dealer for service.
The vehicle is safe to drive; however,
you do not have the benet of
Electronic Stability Control (ESC),
so reduce your speed and drive
accordingly.
Security messages
• Theft Attempted
Displays if the vehicle detects a
tamper condition.
Service vehicle messages
• Service AC System
Displays if there is a problem with
the air conditioning system. Take
the vehicle to a Holden Dealer for
service.
• Service Power Steering
Displays and a chime may sound
when there may be a problem with
the power steering system.
If this message displays and a
reduction in steering performance or
loss of power steering assistance is
noticed, see a Holden Dealer.
• Service Vehicle Soon
Displays if there is a problem with
the vehicle. Take the vehicle to a
Holden Dealer for service.
Transmission messages
• Service Transmission
Displays if there is a problem with
the transmission.
Take the vehicle to a Holden dealer
for service.
• Shift To Park
Displays when the transmission
needs to be shifted to P (Park).
This may display when attempting
to remove the key from the ignition
switch, or for vehicles with electronic
key system, when removing the key
from the vehicle, if the vehicle is not
in P (Park).
• Transmission Hot – Idle Engine
Displays and a chime sounds if the
transmission uid becomes too hot.
Driving with the transmission uid
temperature high can cause damage
to the vehicle.
Stop the vehicle and let it idle to
allow the transmission to cool.
This message clears when the uid
temperature reaches a safe level.
