Turning the ignition off
To turn the ignition off:
1. Stop the vehicle and shift the
automatic transmision to P
(Park).
2. Push the key toward the steering
column and turn the key to
LOCK. Remove the key
3. Apply the parking brake rmly.
Ignition positions 0 140
Vehicles with electronic key
system
Warning
Do not turn the engine off while
the vehicle is moving as there
will not be any power assist for
brakes or steering.
1. Have the electronic key inside
the vehicle.
2. Depress the brake pedal.
3. Automatic transmission in P or N.
4. Do not operate the accelerator
pedal.
5. Press the Engine Start/Stop
button.
The engine starts after a short delay.
